Hi Guys.
I know that it's been a while since my last post, but I hope y'all understand how busy life as a college student is. I mean, assignments, tests, co-curricular activities.. anyway, I'm pleased to share this one bit about my free time. You see, I play tennis. And I simply love tennis. But now that I live outside of campus and transportation has been a real problem to me, not to mention the jealous weather Malaysia has been going through lately, I spend my time playing Dota 2. And yeah, it's freakin' awesome..
and so why do I even care telling you this? simple. One of my previous posts was about Dota 2 Invites from me right? And guess what...
NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM WAS GIVEN AWAY!
I checked my e-mail like every day and there's yet to be an e-mail requesting for them! C'mon guys! Maybe we can even form teams or, you know, party Dota style sometimes.
I know I haven't quite been posting here lately, you see... coming up with a post is REALLY HARD!!!! but pictures, though... that's a better idea. So I have been active on Instagram lately and I that's where I post in the absence of ideas for this blog. DO FOLLOW ME! JUST CLICK HERE~ haha.. And I've develpoed a main central page that would redirect you to most of my pages like twitter, blogger and facebook. so make sure you bookmark THIS PAGE RIGHT HERE okay! chiao!
P/S: photo blog or video blog? why not both? I'm working on that...

Hello~~
12 days since my last post and I still haven't figured out any new topics to write about. And in between the 12 days, I've been through quite a lot. But this post is about my gaming activities only.
So I've been quite active on Steam lately, playing some DOTA 2 and Team Fortress 2 online and collecting items for my characters. I have to say, ever since I start playing DOTA 2, my whole undertaking of the Defense of The Ancients has become totally different. I mean, the players in DOTA 2 play at a whole another level, I'm talking about ganking, wards, supporting and communication. You miss one warning for or from your teammates, and that may cost you the entire game. You can also analyse your previous games via dotabuff.com like mine right >>here<<.
Which reminds me, my DOTA 2 invites are still up for grabs, guys. I've still another ten of them and not a single request from anyone right now. So, anytime you're ready guys, or girls, anytime at all.

The Roar of The Hero
Okay so I'm not talking about any hero, frankly, but I'm referring the term "Hero" to the Proton Wira that I currently use to get around in Shah Alam. Especially for tennis. Okay, so, last Friday night, while you people had the usual TGIF celebrations, I headed out for an extra tennis session in UiTM. And a superb session it was... until the Wira I drove wouldn't start, leaving me stranded in the college grounds for hours trying to figure out what's wrong with it.
My first guess was that the battery ran out and so I called for a few of my friends to help out. Well, I called for my uncle, but it turns out that he was so far away, there's no way he could have come lend me a hand. I mean, Vietnam was just too far away from Shah Alam. Anyway, credits to my buddies Asnawi (@As_Nawie), Nadzrul (@NadzrulKharudin) for their help with the matter. I would've been stranded in UiTM for the next 6 days. We tried replacing the batteries, jump-starting the car and even pushing it downhill to start the car but efforts went in vain. And so I resorted to calling a mechanic to check out what the problem was and get him to fix it. And guess what...
THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH IT!!!
Yeah, I was mind-blown about it too. I mean, WHAT???!! I had to had problems getting around for NOTHING?? It was totally uncalled for.
All the mechanic did was tighten some wires connected to the spark plugs and the 6-day sleep ended with a VROOOM!!!! The sweet roar of the Wira was back. I was overjoyed!! TENNIS!!! I'm coming for you!!!

Better Late Than Never, Right? It's DOTA 2!!!
Now, I'm sure many of you guys have heard of the World of Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne and with it came the Multi-player Online Role-Playing Game, Defense of The Ancients (DoTA), right?
Well, on August 17th 2012, IceFrog's DOTA 2 debuted to the public in Germany, and since then many DoTA players have wanted to get their hands on it, including me. And luckily enough, I got a DOTA 2 invite from my friend and I've been playing DOTA 2 every now and then since last November (if I am not mistaken...). And I find it very entertaining.
Interesting right? I mean, graphics, UI, control, VoIP and.. umm... GRAPHICS!!! This game simply does justice to it's pioneer, and every DoTA player deserves the right to play it.
SO HERE'S WHAT THIS POST IS ALL ABOUT:
I have DOTA 2 Invites to give away and I intend to use them, right here!
Of course you can see that I have 11 invites to give away.
Originally, I got 12 of these and I gave one to my friend as we promised each other to help the other out should one of us get our hands on DOTA 2. So I kept my promise and I decided to go head and give away EIGHT DOTA 2 INVITATIONS!!!
I'm saving 3 for some more friends of mine so, if they never claim them in let's say, a months, then I'm giving them all away.
So now that I have your attention, here's the set of procedures that I want you to fulfill to get an invitation:
- MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A WORKING AND ACTIVE STEAM ACCOUNT AND HAVE DOTA 2 ON YOUR WISHLIST. I'M NOT GIVING THE INVITES TO PEOPLE WHO DON'T WANT THEM.
- E-MAIL ME AT profathlete13@gmail.com WITH THE E-MAIL TITLED "DOTA 2" ALONG WITH YOUR STEAM USERNAME AND AVATAR.
- SHOULD I CHOOSE YOU AND DECIDE TO BRING YOU INTO THE DOTA 2 WORLD, I WILL SEND A FRIEND REQUEST TO YOU AND YOU ARE TO APPROVE THE REQUEST WITHIN 24 HOURS OF MY REQUEST SO YOU BETTER BE ACTIVE ON STEAM FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS AFTER SENDING ME THE E-MAIL!. YOU CAN UNFRIEND ME IF YOU WANT AFTER INITIATING YOUR FIRST DOTA 2 MATCH IF YOU WANT, I DON'T CARE. IT'S JUST THAT I'D RATHER SEND THE INVITE VIA STEAM RATHER VIA E-MAIL.
- DOWNLOAD DOTA 2 VIA STEAM AFTER GETTING THE INVITE. CONTACT ME IF YOU FACE ANY TROUBLE INITIATING YOUR FIRST GAME AND I'LL TRY TO HELP YOU OUT. BUT THERE REALLY SHOULDN'T BE ANY.
ANYWAY, YOU'D PROBABLY WANT TO READ THIS:
GOOD LUCK GUYS AND GIRLS! Yes, there are female DoTA players... Salutations for now!
- I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO CHECK YOUR COMPUTER'S CAPABILITY FOR RUNNING DOTA 2 OR ELSE YOU'LL PROBABLY BE HEADING TO CYBER CAFES JUST TO PLAY DOTA 2 AND THAT'S A REAL TURNOFF. HEAD OVER TO >>SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS LAB<< TO CHECK.
- NOTE THE RED TEXT IN THE IMAGE? YEAH, YOU CAN'T REDEEM THE INVITE IF YOU'RE IN CHINA. DUNNO WHY, AND I'M NOT BEING RACIST OKAY!
GOOD LUCK GUYS AND GIRLS! Yes, there are female DoTA players... Salutations for now!

Crickets In The Car As I Drive Home
EVERYBODY's GOING HOME...
Yet I'm still around in Shah Alam. I'm not complaining, just pointing out the reason to why many of my friends asked me to help them out with sending them off to the bus station in Section 17. I should be job-hunting... I really should be job-hunting... And today, as I sent off four friends, I got to observe some delightful scenes... Oh boy, you wouldn't believe how pathetic you can look when you're going in different directions with your girlfriend. The whole day, I spent driving around for groceries and sending my friends off. so you can imagine how worn out I am right now.
BUT NONETHELESS...
It feels good to help people out. Especially when you don't ask for anything in return. I feel good, even when I almost locked myself out of my car and left the engine running, because I've discovered that when you pass on good deeds, they come right back at you, whenever you need them. It happened... *Hush*
Anyway, I finished sending off my friends and drove home just now when I heard cricket sounds, which for the next few minutes driving home occupied my train of thoughts.
1. Why am I alone?
I mean, I serve people, help out as much as I can and all expecting nothing from them in return. But here I sit alone and feeling disconnected from my peers. Heck, I never even felt much connection even when I'm with them. What gives?
2. What am I really doing?
I get around everyday to appreciate my own living, but to what end? I know we all have that one goal that we want to achieve, but for me, I think I've passed Self-Actualization already. I'm satisfied with myself. I'm happy with what I'm doing now and I feel no regret whatsoever. With achievement-by-achievement milestones keeping on coming my way, what's next?
3. What's next for me?
I live in the moment, and apparently for the moment, nothing in this world interests me at all. So, what is it that could possibly make me crave for it with full passion?
And so I reached home with practically A LIST of possibilities:
1. TOTAL WORLD DOMINATION?nah~ ditched that years ago.
2. A NEW AND IMPROVED STUDIO? for my multimedia projects~ MEH~ I think I can get by with my current set.
3. A GIRLFRIEND? Let me think... Hmmmm... NOPE. Don't have one, don't need one.
.
.
.
And I reached home still thinking about it. I turned on the TV and there it was:
TENNIS! That's what's next for me. I've been at it for so long it's as if I married it. So I decided that I'm going to go all the way and make my mark in tennis in Malaysia.
Screw it with being alone, unlike soccer, basketball or any other team events, in tennis, YOU ARE all alone against an opponent. so what if I'm left alone? I've gotten used to it and it gives me freedom to come up with new achievements and entitles me with being prone to making mistakes. And that's how I'll learn tennis even more, with no pressure and burden holding me back from my full potential.
So thank you, crickets-in-my-car-which-I-have-no-idea-how-you-got-there, you made my life mean a lot more before the day came to an end...

Back and Staying; well, at least for a few weeks.
SO I AM BACK!TADA~~
It's been a few weeks, I know, NOBODY CARES~~~ But I am back! The finals for the first semester is over and I have A LOT OF STUFF to blog about, So I guess I'd best start off with something quite big that took place a few days short of my last exam paper: The Listen, Let Me Speak Incident.
I was preparing for a paper that morning when I saw the video on Youtube, and honestly I never really gave a damn about it, until I started seeing the word LISTEN everywhere. And so I decided to check it out myself and GOD, it took me so many reruns to finally get what was going on. It was kind of an uneven debate where a student wasn't allowed to finish opting her suggestion for the government. And I tell you, from my point of view, the humiliation Miss Bawani received was really uncalled for. And for an O-level holder, Oh boy, this is hilarious, that woman's English was... well, let's just say I've heard better. But one thing for certain is that this video is not really one I dare to review much. Let's just say I try to stay safe on the net, however, here's what I'll do, since I have a decent network of bloggers among my friends, I'll link you to a friend of mine so you can maybe see what's so provocative about the incident. Head over to >>Chu's<< to read about it, because I agree with Chu's opinion, but I won't let my emotions do the typing in this blog.
Well, I guess that's about enough on this post. See ya!
