The Samsung Galaxy Camera Launch

Hey there guys, I’ve got some great news to share with you. Yesterday, November 28th, 2012, is the day Samsung launched their latest product yet – The Samsung Galaxy Camera. Earlier the night before, I received an e-mail from MYC! inviting me to this launch event and after all the fuss about should I or should I not go, I decided to go.

At the Ciao Ristorante for Samsung’s Galaxy Camera Launch, Mobilers and journalists had to register on the left. Dealers register on the right.

I had my cell phone with me, and I hope that the pictures that come along with this post don’t disappoint you readers out there. I did my best but I’ll tell you this one, The Samsung Galaxy Camera was better, it was AWESOME!!!
I got to tag along with two gorgeous Mobilers who came for this event, Jessica and Summer. They were fun and very kind. We sat in front right side of the stage and I guess I can blame the seats for the bad pictures. Hahaha!;

Then the host came along and started the event. No long intros or that sort of annoyance, he called for the Managing Director of Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn. Bhd. to introduce and officially launch the Galaxy Camera. I’ll get to some of the details of it later; I have the details sheet from Samsung, don’t worry .

And he officially launches it with some snapshots of some models.

But as you guys could have guessed, I had my eyes on the device.

And apparently so was Jessica.

There was a closing performance by some models and dancers after the Q&A sessions too.

Some freestyle dancers brought the theme of dance.

Some fashion models carrying the Galaxy Camera with the theme of fashion.

There was this ballerina gracefully moving about the stage representing the theme of landscape

And finally this ballerina emerged out of a uniquely painted box with her face painted to camouflage herself as she portrays the theme of art.

Later in the evening, Samsung gave away 4 Galaxy Cameras to 4 lucky winners who participated in a mini-contest they held, unfortunately, I wasn’t one of them. But I did get to snap a few shots with the Galaxy Camera, it’s good enough for me.

Jessica and I worked on Fashion for the contest.

Summer went for Arts. Too bad she had trouble using the Galaxy Camera though. Better luck next time Summer!!

The dance crew there were the best I guess. They danced and interacted with the contestants as if they weren’t even part of a contest. They simply had fun.

The landscape of the event location was very, very nice by the way..

And then there was dinner, with splendid presentation and a great splash of flavours, we indulged ourselves as we please.
